The Oxford Revue was the brainchild of Michael Palin, who was the first to combine the idea of "sketch comedy" with "a paying audience" in the early 1950s. Since then the Oxford Revue has never looked back, spawning some of Britain's best loved comedians, from Alan Bennett and Rowan Atkinson, to Armando Ianucci and Sally Phillips, to Stewart Lee and Richard Herring. Today, along with forays to London and Edinburgh, the Oxford Revue performs in and around Oxford to contented crowds.

Are you a failure? We think so. But we like you. You have potential. For a flexible fee, we'll add motivation, perspiration and shoulder pads. But don't take our word for it: 'You guys really kicked me in the balls - saved me from working in that video store my whole life' (Margaret Thatcher, 'Dancing On Ice' star). With our help, you too could soon be 'Going Places'. The critically acclaimed Oxford Revue return with more surreal, subversive sketch comedy.

Praise for the Revue's sold-out show at the Oxford Playhouse:
'A silly and wonderful breath of fresh air... drew a considerable laugh from this considerable audience.' - The Cherwell
'Who can forget the high-kicking technicolour hot-pants of Oxford's heron-like Ollie Mann?' - Daily Info
