about us

The Oxford Revue is the University of Oxford's premier sketch-comedy collective.

You can catch us in action during ‘Audreys’ (our scratch nights at the Wheatsheaf Pub), in our Newcomers’ show, a sketch show which showcases the best of our new crop of talent, and every year at the Oxford Playhouse with our pals from the Cambridge Footlights and the Durham Revue. You’ll also see us on tour in London, Cambridge, Durham and Edinburgh - every year we put on a big sketch show with Assembly at the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as funding a wide range of fab comedy projects from other Revue members throughout the festival.

We’re a collective of writers, sketch performers, stand-ups and the occasional random musician, and we exist to support emerging comedians at the University of Oxford. We fund sketch shows, silly plays and all sorts of other hilarious endeavours, so if you have an idea and would like our help, drop us a line:
