About us

Begun in the 1950s under mysterious circumstances, the Revue boasts an impressive array of alumni, including Michael Palin, Rowan Atkinson, Katy Brand and Stewart Lee.

The Revue is a comedy collective formed of students from the University of Oxford. Together, we write and perform a wide range of shows and events throughout the year, including 'Audreys'—our regular scratch nights held at the Wheatsheaf Pub—and frequent main stage shows at venues like the Burton Taylor Studio, the Pilch, and the Oxford Playhouse. We also perform extensively at the Edinburgh Fringe each year.
